purpose of remediation is to remove mold
growth and restore the property to a normal

first step is to stop the moisture at its
source.
We then make sure the affected area is
contained, or sealed-off, from the rest of the
structure to prevent cross-contamination so that
mold spores do not spread to other parts of the
building. Air ducts are sealed, containment
barriers erected, and then negative
pressurization is achieved. Affected surfaces
are cleaned, dried, or removed and properly
disposed of contaminated materials. We generally
recommend the use of a dehumidifier for over-all
moisture control.

crawlspace (under house) can cause a variety of

humidity caused by standing water in your
crawlspace can cause mold growth on the wooden
foundation and the bottom of sub flooring. It
can also cause warping or buckling of sub
flooring and mold growth in the living area of
the building. If your home has HVAC (heating,
ventilation, air conditioning) ducting in the
crawlspace and the system is compromised with
excess moisture, microbial amplification may
result. All of these issues can possibly create
unhealthy indoor air quality.

whether it is from a freshwater line or sewer
drain, chances are your plumber will not be able
to access the problem safely without having the
area pumped free of standing water and or having
